20/8: En Londres con Deco / In London with Deco
Aunque estos dias tengo poco tiempo para escribir me gustaría compartir rapidamente la siguiente noticia. Hace unos dias ya escribí sobre mi reunión positiva con Allan Panza, Director de la fundación del futbolista Deco quien por cierto ha tenido un debut excelente en el Chelsea el domingo pasado. Pero como de esto ya se escribe mucho prefiero hablar de su parte humana… Porque desde mi primer café con Allan todo ha ido muy rapido y hay muy buenas noticias! En pimero lugar Deco quiere apoyar publicamente la iniciativa y pronto haremos conjuntamente una rueda de prensa en Londres que seguro que va a generar mucho Teaming en Inglaterra. Aparte de esto su fundación www.deco20.org.br ya esta representando el Teaming en Brasil y finales de octubre estaré con ellos en Sao Paolo para presentar la idea a empresas, fundaciones y prensa. Mucho Teaming y ayuda en dos paises grandes como son Inglaterra y Brasil gracias al corazón de una persona. Muchas gracias Deco!

Although these days I have little time to write I would like to share quickly the following news. A couple of days ago I already wrote about my positive meeting with Allan Panza, Director of the foundation of football player Deco who by the way had an excellent debut with Chelsea last Sunday. But as about this already a lot is written I prefer to talk about his human part… Because since my first coffee with Allan eveything has gone really quick and there is very good news! First of all Deco wants to support publicly the initiative and soon we will give together a press conference in London which for sure will generate a lot of Teaming in England. Apart from this his foundation www.deco20.org.br is already representing Teaming in Brasil and by the end of October I will be with them in Sao Paolo to present the idea to companies, foundations and the press. A lot of Teaming and aid in two big countries as England and Brasil are thanks to the heart of one person. Many thanks Deco!
18/8: Pensar en grande / Thinking big
Estoy a punto de irme a Holanda para trabajar con Salem Samhoud y su equipo http://www.samhoud.com/nl/over-ons/medewerkers/wie-zijn-wij en el desarrollo y el futuro de Teaming. Ultimamente hablo mucho de Latino America pero no hay que olvidar todo lo bueno que esta pasando en Europa especialmente gracias a Salem Samhoud quien es una persona que siempre piensa en grande. Por eso su empresa &Samhoud es ahora el numero 5 Great Place To Work en Europa (!) y numero 1 en Holanda. Desde el primer dia de su compromiso de apoyarme economicamente y con su estructura internacional Salem no habla de Teaming en Holanda. Prefiere pensar en Europa e incluso en el mundo. Cuando en el 2000 empecé a trabajar en la idea siempre pensé que debe ser posible que algun dia el Teaming será algo normal y natural en las empresas como es hoy en dia por ejemplo el Marketing. Mucha gente me decia que es un sueño bonito pero quizas algo utopico. Salem y yo pensamos que los sueños pueden realizarse…

Lately I talk a lot about Latin America but we shouldn’t forget all the great things happening in Europe especially thanks to Salem Samhoud who is a person that always thinks big. That’s why his company &Samhoud is now the number 5 Great Place To Work in Europe (!) and number 1 in Holland. Since the first day of his compromise to support me financially and with his international structure Salem doesn’t talk about Teaming in Holland. He prefers thinking about Europe and even worldwide. When in the year 2000 I started working on the idea I always thought that it should be possible that one day Teaming will be something normal and natural within the companies as it is nowadays for example Marketing. A lot of people told me that this is a nice dream but perhaps slightly utopian. Salem and I think that dreams can come true…
17/8: Limpiezas diferentes / Different cleanings
Cuando ayer estaba repasando los mails de los ultimos dias ví que 2 personas diferentes me preguntaban lo mismo: porque ya no se puede escribir comentarios en el blog? De momento lo he cerrado porque ultimamente estaba perdiendo mucho tiempo limpiando cada dia los mensajes spam que entraban en el blog que realmente también tiene un lado positivo porque la gente que envia estos comentarios comerciales usan webs con muchas visitas como el blog de Teaming! Este problema estará solucionado pronto con la nueva web mas profesional donde el spam ya no puede entrar y donde precisamente la base será compartir ejemplos, fotos y videos de todo el mundo que ya esta haciendo Teaming. Como la empresa Nilfisk Advance que me envió esta foto donde estoy sentado en una de sus maquinas impresionantes de limpieza despues de mi presentación. Este tipo de limpieza sí que me gusta! When I was going through my mails yesterday I saw that 2 different persons asked me the same: why can’t we write comments at the blog anymore? For the moment I closed it because lately I was losing a lot of time cleaning every day the spam messages that entered at the blog which actually also has a positive part because the people sending these commercial comments are using webs with many visitors like the Teaming blog! This problem will be solved soon with the new more professional web site where spam cannot enter anymore and where precisely the basis will be sharing examples, images and videos of everybody doing Teaming. Like the company Nilfisk Advance that sent me this photo where I am sitting on one of their impressive cleaning machines after my presentation. I do like this kind of cleaning! 15/8: Energia extra / Extra energy
La energia extra que produce hacer Teaming. Es una frase que leí en la parte de novedades de la pagina web de la empresa argentina Guia Hogar http://www.guia-hogar.com/index3.htm donde estan haciendo las dos cosas que siempre pido a todo el mundo: implementar y difundir el Teaming. Me encanta esta descripción porque es algo que mucha gente me ha comentado despues de poner en marcha la idea. Y hablando de energia extra… Tengo mucha despues de desconectar estos dias en la playa y seguro que lo necesitaré para estos meses que vienen. La semana que viene voy a Holanda para trabajar en el desarrollo de Teaming con la empresa &Samhoud y para septiembre y octubre ya hay una agenda llena de charlas, visitas y viajes para que el Teaming siga creciendo paso por paso!

The extra energy that produces doing Teaming. This is a phrase I read in the news part at the web site of the Argentinian company Guia Hogar http://www.guia-hogar.com/index3.htm where they are doing the two things I always ask to everybody: implementing and spreading Teaming. I love this description because this is something many people have commented to me after having started the idea. And talking about extra energy… I’ve got a lot after having disconnected these days on the beach and I definitely will need it for the next couple of months. Next week I will go to Holland to work on the Teaming development together with the company &Samhoud and for September and October there is already an agenda full of presentations, visits and trips so that Teaming keeps on growing step by step!
11/8: Escapada de la playa / Escape from the beach
Hoy había un buen motivo para escaparme unas horas de la playa. Me invitó para una reunión Allan Panza, director de la fundación del futbolista Deco www.deco20.org.br porque quieren mover el Teaming en Brasil para sus proyectos sociales y logicamente también para que sea un instrumento nuevo de captar fondos para otras fundaciones en su pais. Hemos hablado de muchas cosas positivas y para octubre Allan me quiere invitar a Brasil para lanzar la idea hacia sus contactos empresariales y a la prensa. Que gran noticia! Ultimamente hay cada vez mas mensajes y visitas desde Brasil pero estoy convencido que esta iniciativa causará mucho mas Teaming. Espero que veremos el mismo efecto positivo que he visto en Argentina y Mexico despues de mis primeras presentaciones. Según Allan hay mucho potencial para el Teaming en Brasil y en todo Latino America porque casi todo el mundo quiere ayudar pero muchas veces la gente simplemente no sabe cómo o no tiene recursos para hacer grandes cosas a nivel individual…

Today there was a good reason to escape from the beach for a couple of hours. I was invited for a meeting by Allan Panza, director of the foundation of football player Deco www.deco20.org.br because they want to move Teaming in Brasil for their social projects and logically also so that it can be a new instrument to raise funds for other foundations in their country. We talked about a lot of positive things and for October Allan wants to invite me to Brasil to launch the idea towards their corporate contacts and to the press. What a great news! Lately there is a growing number of messages and visits from Brasil but I am convinced that this initiative will cause much more Teaming. I hope we will see the same positive effect I saw in Argentina and Mexico after my first presentations. According to Allan there is a lot of potential for Teaming in Brasil and all Latin America because almost everbody wants to help but many times people just don’t know how or don’t have resources to do big things at an individual level…

2/8: Mis niñas / My girls
Ya he vuelto a casa y estoy muy contento por todo lo positivo que esta pasando al Teaming y sobre todo por ver a mis niñas otra vez. Ultimamente hubo tanto trabajo con el Teaming que no he dedicado todo el tiempo a ellas que me hubiera gustado. Por eso he decidido que antes de seguir trabajando en la misma velocidad primero voy a desconectar unos dias para estar con mi familia. Prometo responder todos los mensajes pronto y aprovecho este momento para decir una vez mas muchas gracias a todo el mundo que esta haciendo el Teaming mas grande!

I am back home again and very happy for all the positive things happening to Teaming and especially for seeing my girls again. Lately there was so much work with Teaming that I haven’t dedicated all the time to them I would have liked to. That’s why I decided that before keep on working at the same speed first I am going to disconnect some days to be with my family. 29/7: Pasos gigantes en Mexico / Giant steps in Mexico
Como siempre cuando estoy de viaje hay poco tiempo para describir todo lo bueno que esta pasando al Teaming. Por eso aqui un pequeño resumen desde Mexico que explicaré con mas detalle en los próximos dias. Para empezar fue muy bonito escuchar directamente de Beatriz Villanueva de la fundación Fondo Para La Paz como ya reciben importantes donaciones Teaming de Walmart donde sus empleados aplican la idea con solo 6 Pesos por persona al mes doblado por la empresa! Aparte de esto hoy me he dado cuenta que la Universidad Tecnológico de Monterrey es casi como mi segunda casa porque era maravilloso ver las reacciones positivas despues de mi charla y recibir invitaciones para mas eventos. También me impresionó que despues de mi charla para el personal de Nilfisk su Director General Manuel Olea me decia que quiere invertir en un Teaming Manager que se dedica full time al desarrollo de la idea en Mexico! As always when I am travelling there is little time to describe all the good things happening to Teaming. That’s why hereby a little resume from Mexico which I will explain with more details in the next few days. First of all it was very nice to hear directly from Beatriz Villanueva of the foundation Fondo Para La Paz how they already receive important Teaming donations from Walmart where their employees apply the idea with only 6 Pesos per person per month matched by the company! Apart from this today I realised that the University Tecnológico de Monterrey is almost like my second home because it was marvellous to see all the positive reactions after my presentation and to receive invitations for more events. I was also impressed that after my presentation for the Nilfisk staff their Managing Director Manuel Olea told me that he wants to invest in a Teaming Manager who dedicates full time to the development of the idea in Mexico! 26/7: Viva Mexico & Nilfisk!
Estoy a punto de irme al aeropuerto porque hasta el jueves estaré en Mexico. 25/7: Visitando la policia / Visiting the police
Los policias también hacen Teaming! Ayer he visitado a los Mossos d’Esquadra (para la gente fuera de España es la policia de Catalunya) donde me ha invitado Joan Barris quién trabaja aqui como traductor y ahora también como Teaming Manager. El año pasado ya empezaron a mover el Teaming en los Mossos d’Esquadra a traves de su sindicato (ver www.solidari.cat ) y ahora también digamos de la manera tradicional. Sinceramente hace un año no me podía imaginar que algun dia estaría paseando por los despachos de las policias para presentar el Teaming y por eso el pase de visitante que me dieron es un buen souvenir. Y volviendo a Joan el Teaming Manager me ha gustado mucho ver una vez mas la confirmación que cualquier persona de cualquier departamento puede aplicar la idea con sus compañeros. The police is also doing Teaming! Yesterday I visited the Mossos d’Esquadra (for the people outside Spain this is the police of Catalonia) where I was invited by Joan Barris who works here as a translator and now as a Teaming Manager as well. Last year within the Mossos d’Esquadra they already started moving Teaming through their union (see www.solidari.cat ) and now also let’s say on the traditional way. Honestly a year ago I could not imagine that one day I would be walking around the police offices presenting Teaming and that’s why the visitors pass they gave me is a nice souvenir. And going back to Joan the Teaming Manager I liked very much to see one more time the confirmation that any person of any department can apply the idea with their colleagues.
