30/6: Los mini equipos / The mini teams
Es genial ver que cada vez me llegan mas mensajes de personas que hacen el Teaming en mini equipos (por ejemplo un grupo de amigos o estudiantes, una familia o un departamento en una empresa para enseñar el caso practico a mas compañeros, etc.) para proyectos sociales pequeños o incluso para una persona con problemas, algo que por cierto veo mucho en Latino America. A veces no nos damos cuenta que por ejemplo con solo 10 Euros al mes se puede cambiar muchas vidas en otras partes del mundo. Es lo que contó Teresa de la Ong Active Africa el pasado jueves durante la sesión en el Teaming Institute. En esta reunión también asistieron Xavier y Carles de la empresa La Caixa e inspirado por esta información inmediatamente propusieron al resto del grupo poner 1€ por persona en la mesa para ayudar a una persona a través de Active Africa. Asi de facil es hacer el Teaming en un mini equipo!

It’s great to see that I am receiving a growing number of messages of persons doing Teaming within a mini Team (for example a group of friends or students, a family or a department in a company to show the practical case to other colleagues, etc.) for small social projects or even for a person with problems, something I see by the way often in Latin America. Sometimes we don’t realise that for example with only 10 Euros per month many lives can be changed in other parts of the world. This is what Teresa of the Ngo Active Africa told last Thursday during the session at the Teaming Institute. In this meeting also assisted Xavier and Carles of the company La Caixa and inspired by this information they immediately proposed to the rest of the group to put 1€ per person on the table in order to help a person through Active Africa. Doing Teaming in a mini team is as easy as that!
28/6: Lo único que necesitamos / The only thing we need
Aunque cada vez hay mas empresas que ponen en marcha el Teaming desde por ejemplo su departamento de RRHH (muy buena señal!) personalmente lo que mas gusta es ver cómo la idea se esta aplicando gracias a personas como Quima Albalate. Quima es enferma en el Hosital de Sant Camil y un dia empezó a proponer el Teaming a sus compañeros. Cada vez había mas empleados del hospital que se apuntaban hasta el gerente quien incluso nos invitó para decir que le encanta la idea. Y Quima no para! Porque ahora incluso me envió esta foto del comité de humanización (me gusta este nombre!) de otro hospital en su región con quien colaboran (Sant Antoni Abad) con quién se ha reunido para explicar el Teaming y ahora también lo van a poner en marcha. Muchas gracias Quima, lo único que necesitamos es gente como tu que mueven el Teaming donde y cuando puedan!

Although there is a growing number of companies starting Teaming through for example their HR department (very good sign!) what I personally like most to see is how the idea is being applied thanks to people like Quima Albalate. Quima is a nurse at the Hospital Sant Camil and one day she started proposing Teaming to her colleagues. There were more and more employees of the hospital that joined until the general manager who even invited us to say that he loves the idea. And Quima doesn’t stop! Because now she even sent me this image of the humanisation committee (I like this name!) from another hospital in their region they are working together with (Sant Antoni Abad) with who she had a meeting to explain Teaming and now they are going to start it as well. Many thanks Quima, the only thing we need is people like you moving Teaming wherever and whenever they can!
25/6: Teaming Institutes Holland & Madrid
De momento hay una solución provisional para los problemas técnicos y hasta que tengamos la nueva comunidad virtual al menos puedo escribir otra vez algunas noticias en este blog. Realmente era un poco frustante no poder compartir información en las ultimas semanas porque han pasado tantas cosas buenas! Aparte de que cada dia me llegan confirmaciones de nuevos casos Teaming (lo que mas importa) también hubo otras cosas importantes como una invitación de la Universidad de Lima para lanzar el Teaming Peru en septiembre o la confirmación de Salem Samhoud durante una reunión con el en sus oficinas en Utrecht de que su empresa &Samhoud me va a ayudar a desarrollar un Teaming Institute en Holanda y Madrid que abriremos en octubre!

For the moment there is a provisional solution for the technical problems and until we have the new virtual community at least I can write some news again at this blog. As a matter of fact it was quite frustrating that I couldn’t share information in the past few weeks because so many good things happened! Apart from the fact that every day I receive confirmations of new Teaming cases (what matters most) there were also other important things like an invitation of the University of Lima to launch Teaming Peru in September or the confirmation of Salem Samhoud during a meeting with him at his offices in Utrecht that his company &Samhoud is going to help me to develop a Teaming Institute in Holland and Madrid to be opened in October!
27/5: Problemas y buenas noticias / Problems and good news
Como los problemas técnicos en este blog son mas graves de lo que esperaba de momento es dificil subir mucha mas información nueva. La buena noticia es que la empresa Everis esta desarrollando una comunidad virtual nueva y muy potente (será como un Facebook para Teaming Managers donde todo el mundo puede compartir sus casos Teaming, aprender cómo aplicar la idea, contactarse entre ellos, etc.) que va a sustituir este blog y donde logicamente informaré cada dia sobre las noticias Teaming. Mientras tanto siempre me podeis contactar en jil@teaming.info para las presentaciones que organizo cada semana en el Teaming Institute, ayudaros a poner en marcha la idea, hacer una charla externa o cualquier otra pregunta. As the technical problems at this blog are more serious than I expected for the moment it is difficult to upload much more new information. The good news is that the company Everis is developing a new and very powerful virtual community (this will be like a Facebook for Teaming Managers where eveybody can share their Teaming cases, learn how to apply the idea, contact between each other, etc.) which will replace this blog and where logically I will inform every day about the Teaming news. In the mean time you can always contact me at jil@teaming.info for the presentations I organise every week at the Teaming Institute, to help you starting up the idea, to do an external presentation or any other question. Estos dias estoy haciendo un poco de limpieza en este blog para crear mas espacio. Ya no podía entrar porque estaba demasiado lleno… Por cierto mucha gente me ha dicho que estan usando este video para explicar el Teaming a sus compañeros y jefes. Que bien!

15/5: Mi club de fútbol favorito / My favourite football club
Estos dias se esta hablando mucho de FC Barcelona que por razones evidentes tiene cada día mas fans en todo el mundo. Pero mi club de fútbol favorito es otro … CE Europa que juega en tercera divisón! Hace unos meses ya estaba con ellos para anunciar que es el primer club que hace Teaming con sus jugadores y empleados para la Fundación Nexe y ahora incluso van un paso mas lejos. Porque en su web comunican que su partido de mañana a las 18h. tendrá un precio especial de solo 5€ que incluye 1€ para su proyecto Teaming. Que bueno! Felicidades por ser un gran ejemplo para otros clubs! En CE Europa demuestran que el Teaming siempre es posible y una vez que esta en marcha solo puede crecer. Por cierto este mensaje lo he repetido mucho ayer en Lloret de Mar durante mi charla en el congreso de oficinas de turismo donde he recibido muchas reacciones positivas de personas que seguro que van a hacer lo mismo que mis amigos de CE Europa; mover el Teaming desde el corazón!

These days people are talking a lot about FC Barcelona that for obvious reasons has every day more fans in the world. But my favourite football club is another one … CE Europa playing in the third division! Some months ago I was already with them to announce that this is the first club doing Teaming with their players and employees for the foundation Nexe and now they are even going a step further. Because at their web they communicate that tomorrow’s match at 18h. will have a special price of only 5€ including 1€ for their Teaming project. Very good! Congratulations for being a great example for other clubs! Within CE Europa they show that Teaming is always possible and once it has been started it can only grow. By the way I have repeated this message a lot yesterday in Lloret de Mar during my presentation at the congress of tourist offices where I have received many positive reactions from persons that for sure are going to do the same as my friends of CE Europa; moving Teaming from their heart!

Otra vez tengo unos dias con muy poco tiempo y con muchas reuniones y presentaciones Teaming. Por eso aqui un ejemplo rapido de cómo la idea se esta extendiendo. El Teaming crece cada dia gracias a muchas personas como Marta difundiendo la idea a través de su blog personal!

11/5: La presidenta de la idea / The president of the idea
Esta mañana estaba en el Hospital Sant Joan De Deu por mi hija Mónica y encontré información de la fundación Cuidam que pertenece a este hospital infantil. En Cuidam ya han recibido donaciones Teaming de diferentes empresas y hacen un trabajo increible con estos fondos; en Barcelona operan niños de cualquier sitio del mundo que en su propio pais no tienen ninguna posibilidad de recibir ayuda y me parece algo muy grande! Como el Teaming ha nacido gracias a mi hija Mónica, esta mañana para mi era inevitable recordar que ella es y siempre será la autentica presidenta de la idea!

This morning I was in the Hospital Sant Joan De Deu because of my daughter Mónica and I found information of the foundation Cuidam that belongs to this children’s hospital. Within Cuidam they have already received Teaming donations of various companies and they do an incredible job with these funds; in Barcelona they operate children from any place in the world that in their own country don’t have any possibility to receive aid and I think is really great! As Teaming was born thanks to my daughter Mónica, this morning for me it was inevitable to remind that she is and always will be the one and only president of the idea!
10/5: Los Mejores Sitios Para Trabajar / The Great Places To Work
Recientemente se ha publicado la lista nueva de “Los Mejores Sitios Para Trabajar” y un año mas he visto que en muchas de las empresas ganadoras (como Bankinter, CocaCola, Danone, Emagister, Everis, Infojobs, Grupo Intercom, IVI, Novartis, Proclinic, Softonic) también se esta moviendo el Teaming y creo que no es ninguna casualidad. Es casi lógico que cuando una empresa invierte en la felicidad de sus empleados, el Teaming es algo facil de hacer e incluso ofrece un valor añadido tanto a la organización como a sus personas. Incluso el Teaming puede ser el detalle que ayuda a convertir tu empresa en “Mejor Sitio Para Trabajar“. Es lo que explican Wouter y Anne de Huete&Samhoud (empresa que me apoya economicamente desde el 2007) muchas veces durante una sesión en el Teaming Institute. Su empresa es por segundo año consecutivo “Mejor Sitio Para Trabajar” en Holanda y el hecho que ellos hacen, difunden y apoyan el Teaming (100% participación de sus casi 100 empleados mientras la empresa triplica las microdonaciones) incluso les ha dado mas puntos para subir en el ranking. Recently the new list of “The Great Places To Work” has been published and one more year I have seen that within many awarded companies (like Bankinter, CocaCola, Danone, Emagister, Everis, Infojobs, Grupo Intercom, IVI, Novartis, Proclinic, Softonic) they are also moving Teaming and I believe that this isn’t any coincidence. It’s almost logical that when a company invests in happiness of their employees, Teaming is something easy to do and it even offers an added value both for the organisation and for its persons. Teaming can even be the detail that helps converting your company in “Great Place To Work”. This is what Wouter and Anne from Huete&Samhoud (company that supports me financially since 2007) explain many times during a session at the Teaming Institute. Their company is for the second year in a row “Great Place To Work” in Holland and the fact that they do, spread and support Teaming (100% participation of their almost 100 employees whereas the company triples the microdonations) has even given them more points in order to rise in the ranking. Great!
